Brian Culaciati, Board Member

Brian Culaciati - Board MemberBrian Culaciati is the president and founder of Brico Electric, a successful family-owned commercial contracting business for the past 39 years.

When Culaciati first started Brico Electric Inc., he wanted to build a company that was valued as being one of the best electrical service companies in Southern California. The idea of the company was there, but one of the greatest challenges he faced was trying to establish the core personnel of the company. Since 1978, Culaciati has made Brico Electric Inc. one of the most successful electrical services throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County area and continues to run strong. It is through open communication, integrity, having a hard work ethic and being true to the work his company provides that has been able to keep Brico Electric Inc. one of the top electrical service providers. As a business owner, he has also learned that some of the other key factors in running a successful business is being a person of integrity and a company that knows how to manage finances. Above all things, have integrity first and foremost, and don’t spend money you don’t have.

Mark Boggess, Treasurer

Jim Piper, Jr - Board MemberRetired as President of Good Sam Enterprises. Following four years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, Mark has spent over 30 years in entrepreneurial financial rolls raising capital to support the acquisition of bottling companies, media properties, and database marketing companies.

Throughout his career, he has come to learn that the most challenging and rewarding aspects of the business are the people. He believes a business might have a great product, but when they don’t have the right people to execute the processes to make or deliver the product, in most cases, that’s when businesses fail. Having this kind of knowledge has made him successful in his professional career, as well as executive type roles he’s been in because he is someone who stays grounded on the decision-making process. Where he has seen the most success in his business is when he encourages employees to hire someone smarter than themselves. The more successful the employee is, the better off the organization will be. Over the years, he has learned that when you surround yourself with good people and give them the challenges they seek and desire, it is not only beneficial on a personal level, but within the company as well.

Mark holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati College of Business.

Lead Today has great insight into the challenges faced by leaders in the corporate world and a desire to come alongside them and encourage them in their role as a leader. They have an uncanny ability to coach, guide and encourage leaders to truly lead by character in the role given to them. They bring several nuggets that leaders can easily grasp onto and put into practice. I have worked with them more than once and would highly recommend them if you or your company is ready to take a step to the next level of leadership."
